Rod MacTaggart, President of Scenario Communications, Inc., is an award-winning writer and designer with more than 30 years experience in consumer & business journalism, information design, visual communications design, technical & marketing communications, documentation project design & management, web design & content, internet optimization & marketing, photography, videography, and multimedia.
After 15 years in newspaper, magazine & broadcast journalism and corporate public relations, Rod founded Scenario Communications in 1976 to provide uncompromisingly well-written communications for companies who know that the written word—and how it looks on a page—is an essential component of the bottom line.
With the proliferation of computers for business and personal use, the plethora of badly-written computer and software manuals led Rod to apply an old truism: If you want something done right, you probably have to do it yourself. Several well-known pioneering software companies responded, and for nearly a decade much of Rod's work was technical writing and documentation for computer software, and a lot of software application marketing communications, much of it provided on-line as well as in print.
This led naturally to a lot of internet experience, including web site design and content, and sophisticated internet marketing techniques.
Scenario continues to provide the full range of business communications services, and stays ahead of the curve in internet marketing technologies.
